Financial Aid

Undergraduate members are eligible to apply to the Tau Beta Pi Scholarship Program. This is a $2000 scholarship for a full academic year or a $1000 scholarship for a single semester (i.e., graduating in the fall semester). You must be in full-time status to be eligible. Elected candidates who will be initiated by June 1 are also eligible to apply. The application opens February 1, and it is due April 1 at 11:59 PM EST.

If you are a graduate student member of Tau Beta Pi, you are eligible to apply for the Tau Beta Pi Fellowship Program. Recipients of the fellowship are awarded $10,000 in 10 monthly payments, and it is a prestigious honor to be a recipient! The application opens in December, and it also requires two letters of recommendation. Elected candidates who will be initiated by June 1 and be a full-time graduate student in Fall 2025 are also eligible to apply. The application is due on February 1 at 11:59 PM EST, and both reference letters are due February 8 at 11:59 PM EST.

Do you REALLY love to participate in volunteering opportunities? Do you also want to participate in service opportunities abroad? Scholarships are available to cover the $500 program fee in any United Planet program.

United Planet is a non-profit organization that offers international volunteering programs in 35 countries. One $500 scholarship to cover the program fee can be awarded to each Tau Beta Pi chapter once per year if one of their inducted members decides to participate!
